Our Purpose:
(Matt.28:19-20)

To make disciples who…

 1.  Grow In the Word of God

They have a teachable spirit that allows for the Holy Spirit to guide them into all truth

“But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it--he will be blessed in what he does.”    James 1:25

2.  Obey the Word of God

They demonstrate obedience to God in knowing His scriptures and following His commands.

"If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:31, 32

 3.  Worship God

They delight in worshiping God faithfully with their whole being, knowing that there is good in all things

“God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:24

4.  Exhibit Godly Character and Integrity

They believe that knowing the Lord as their Savior will be revealed through the disciple’s character and integrity

“For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.  The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.” Matt. 12:34, 35

5.  Love Others With a Servant’s Heart

They have a servant’s heart full of love and compassion toward his fellow man whether they are a believer or non-believer

By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:35

6.  Know and Use Their Spiritual Gifts

They can identify their spiritual gifts and are using those gifts within appropriate ministries thus bearing fruit and making more disciples

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.” Rom 12:6

7.  Give Faithfully

They are faithfully offering their resources and possessions to God

“Whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” 2 Cor 9:6

8.  Pray Expectantly

They desire to cultivate their relationship with God through pursuing an active prayer life, demonstrated in one’s life in all that they are and what they are doing

"Lord, teach us to pray," Luke 11:1

9. Share the Gospel Openly

They will witness of the Gospel in all that they think, say and do. A disciple shares the Gospel naturally and openly

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Mat 28:19
