Youth Director Josh Catour

Josh and his wife, Ashley, took over the youth ministry of Mt. Olive Missionary Church in June of 2008, right after they were married. They have one child "JD" who was born on July 14 2010. Josh has a passion for helping kids grow closer to Christ. As a teenager, Josh spent time in several youth groups in the Peoria area. These experiences helped form the cornerstone of his faith.

Josh's favorite past-time is going fishing with his wife, his buddies, or all by himself! His favorite television shows are Baseball Tonight, River Monsters, Bassmasters, Sons of Guns, Swamp People, Top Shot, Mike Iaconelli's City Limits Fishing, Cubs Baseball, Bears Football, and anything University of Michigan. Josh enjoys discussing the spiritual relevancy of music and movies.

Favorite Music: Jack Johnson, Thrice, David Crowder Band and Lecrae

Favorite Athletes: Tim Tebow, Mike Iaconelli (Bass Fisherman), Josh Hamilton, Charles Woodson, and Jalen Rose

Favorite Movies: Gladiator, Hurt Locker, Dark Knight, and Good Will Hunting

Hobbies: Fishing, Fishing with my wife, and Fishing with my buddies!

What the Youth want to know about Josh---

What is your biggest fear?--That kids won't apply the biblical principles we talk about at Wired in their everyday life when they graduate, that, and snakes!
What been the greatest moment in your life?--My wedding day June 7 2008...
If you could go back to any event in time, what would it be?--The crucifixion of Jesus. So I would not take His ULTIMATE sacrifice for our sins for granted ever again!
If you were not the youth director...what would you want to be?--Professional Bass Fisherman
If you could have dinner with any 3 people who would it be?--besides Jesus (because everybody says that), Francis Chan, Louie Giglio, and Mark Driscoll.
What are the most recent concerts you have been to?--David Crowder Band, Leeland and Brandon Heath, and Skillet / Tobymac with Pastor Mark.
What’s your most embarrassing piece of clothing?--My Spiderman tighty whiteys!
