Mt. Olive is dedicated to providing excellent in a number of areas within the church, and it takes people to do that  Here are some of the people who help carry out the vision of the church

  • Mark douras

    Pastor Mark became the Senior Pastor at Mt. Olive Missionary Church in July 2009. 

    Pastor Mark and his wife Sheryl have been married since 1982. They have two children, Elizabeth who lives in the Dayton, OH area, and Jonathan who went to be with the Lord in 2005 after a battle with cancer. Pastor Mark and Sheryl have enjoyed extended ministries in Michigan, Russia, Indiana and Ohio.

    Education: Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983 from Ft. Wayne Bible College and a Masters of Arts in Religion from Asbury Seminary

  • Steve gokool

    Steve became the Associate Pastor of Worship at  Mt. Olive Missionary Church in November of 2019.

    Steve is married to Monica and has a daughter Anjali. He is originally from Toronto, Canada. Steve has sung for LA Opera, the Canadian Opera Company, and many other professional venues around the globe. Steve has degrees in Voice Performance, and Conducting, as well as Minors in Composition, and Art History. He attended The University of Toronto, The University of New Mexico, and also the Manhattan School of Music. Steve has coached and taught performers on Broadway, and on Television.

    Steve has served on staff at churches in Toronto, Albuquerque, New Jersey, and New York, where God has led. His  joy is to see people experience the presence and love of God in real and tangible ways.

  • Christie Robinson

    Christie grew up in the Peoria area and attended Mt. Olive as a child.  She moved to Florida for 10 years where she met her husband, Scott.  they have three grown boys.  Christie and her husband have been married for 33 years and enjoy going for rides in their convertible, and going to the beach.  She has been the administrative assistant for over 16 years.  Growing up at Mt. Olive has brought her many fond memories of the families that she grew up with and seeing some of them still committed to the ministries here gives her a renewed commitment every day to Mt. Olive and it's outreach to the Peoria area.
